Being part of Learning in Retirement can mean a whole lot more than
attending presentations and courses! If you would like to meet even
more people, get involved with putting on events and take part in

Learning in Retirement is fuelled by the energy and experience of our
volunteers. If you have enjoyed some of the Friday presentations or
courses, please consider participating even more actively. We are
always looking for people to help out in a variety of roles! Examples
include: coming up with ideas for presentations or courses, organizing
social events, or helping to make Zoom events run smoothly. If you’d

Due to Freedom of Information rules, we at Learning in Retirement do
not have access to the contact information collected by Selkirk
College when you register. We are therefore creating our own contact
list of people who would like to become more involved with the group.
Some people are keen on social activities, some enjoy finding speakers
for presentations or courses, and some like to help out in other
areas. If you’d like to get more involved with LiR (and meet some
